Community Guidelines for Leveling the Playing Field (finally!):

This community is about connecting people through open and thoughtful conversations. I want readers to share their views and exchange ideas in a safe and brave space. Please keep conversations courteous and on-topic. In order to do so, I’ve created a simple set of rules that will improve your experience.

Simply put, please be civil.

Your post will/might be rejected if it contains:

• Spam

• Insults, profanity, incoherent, obscene or inflammatory language and threats of any kind

• Attacks on the identity of other commenters or the article’s author

• Any comments that are clearly and intentionally racist, bigoted, and discriminatory

• Content that violates a copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right held by someone else. 

User accounts will/might be blocked if I notice:

• Continuous attempts to re-post comments that have been previously moderated/rejected

• Racist, sexist, homophobic, hate speech or bullying comments

• Posts that contain threats of violence, adult content or any activity that is illegal

• Attempts to post personally identifiable information (PII). Do not publicly post sensitive personal information pertaining to yourself or others.

• Attempts or tactics that put the site security at risk

Stay on topic and share your passion. Feel free to elaborate to get your point across.
